Thanks for your help - before i proceed installing this hotfix i need to clarify some points.Currently our setup is 1. Win2003 Ent with SP2 and with all latest hot fixes 2. Exchange 2007 ( Mailbox Server)3. Windows Cluster (Active / Passive) So my question is when i have SP2 for windows - does this hotfixes applies to resolve this issue ?Note; Our Exchange 2007 is without SP ( Due to some internal security issues)Anticipating your response

Check the QFEcheck.txt in the to find if any Hotfix is not installed properly 2. Check the following registry files. If there is any change fix it and try backup. We have Exchange 2003 on windows 2003 server. In our backup product, while verifying client, we list vss writers available and check whether writer for Exchange is available. Output of 'vssadmin list writers' shows that 'Microsoft Exchange Writer' is stable and No Error. But our service not able to detect Exchange writer when we enlist available writers. But this happen only first time when we install product. Once we restart our service, problem gets resolved. Service is running under account that is member of Administrator and Backup Operators.
