Visio 2013 pro image from MS does not continue Installation
Visio setup cannot continue to run because when it starts copying it will ask for the visiolr.cab file.. the language of the image is English, downloaded from Microsoft twice and as IMAGE.. any help?

Hi,

If you install Visio from CD, then copy the installation file from the CD to a folder on your hard drive, then install from that.

Also, when the exe is executed it unpacks to the user directory (appdata/local/temp) so you might check the directory to see what is on the image.

I have this same issue. Copying from the CD does not resolve it. I point it to the exact location and keep getting this dialog box...

I'm not able to install Visio 2013 (I'm upgrading from 2010) at this point. Please help!

Okay - found the issue. The ISO image (containing both 32 and 64 bit versions) on Microsoft's Partner Download website has issues. If you download the specific version (32 or 64 bit), which comes as an EXE file, the upgrade / install works fine.

So if you don't have the access to download the specific versions, I suppose contacting Microsoft for a fix is your only route. i tried EVERYTHING to get that ISO image to install and am now mourning my loss of life.
