Visio 2013 Standard missing stencils and shapes

I just downloaded Vision 2013 Standard on my Surface Pro 3. Added to Office 365.

I select the Electricaland Telcom Plan or the Rack Diagram but when I open them there are no stencils or shapes loaded and no access to add them (just some typical shapes for a server or modem, etc.). Why don't they load a good set of stencils relevant to the drawing type (e.g., if a rack diagram then stencils for routers, switches, servers, and other rack mounted devices)? Visio is expensive ($250+ US dollars), where is the ruck functionality?

perhaps because you may have purchased the wrong edition for what you wanted to do.

[Forum FAQ] Visio Standard 2013, Visio Professional 2013 template list and common uses

Please see post nr 2 under Floor Plans and Network.

I've used Visio in the past a lot of times but don't bother with it now. For one reason the bean counters seem to run the show rather than having the information for the capabilities of the freekin junk provided easily for anybody wanting to purchase this POS.

If they had that info available I wouldn't have had to search to find it just to answer a question that should be answered when you select a link via Microsoft to the rev you want to purchase. It's more like they just want to sell, sell, sell without giving a dang about whether the purchaser can even understand what they are getting. Idiots.

Who knows. Maybe you can find something on the net Tripplite - Visio Stencils for Data Center Planni
