Visio 2010: how do I change default text size of shapes?

Hello,

how do I change the default text size (and font) of basic/quick shapes?

Thank you.

Unfortunately it's a simple question with a not so simple answer. The font(s) for shapes are defined in their 'master shape' which is stored in their stencil. You have to edit the master shape. The complexity comes in when the shape is really a grouping of other shapes. You might check these out as a place to start

Visio 2010 hasn't changed the way things are done that much, the basics are still the same, just a few differences in the menus to get there.

This is really awful from a usability point of view.  The default font size appears to be 8 pts.  All of my documents must meet a 14 pt minimum size.  This causes me to continuously click on the font size pull down.
