Very slow calendars with Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003
Hello I have a client who has an SBS Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003/2007 clients. Users with Outlook 2003 are experiencing very long delays when saving or viewing appointments in their calendars. They receive a message saying 'Outlook is trying to retrieve....' sometimes for several minutes. In addition they have a public folder that contains appointment items , and this is also almost impossible to access. Outlook 2007 users do not have this problem. All other folders in mailbox perform normally. The exchange server is fully up to date with service packs and updates etc. There appears to be no correlation with the number of appointments.
