Is there a troubleshooting guide for the Verizon iPhone 4 and BPOS?

One of the easiest things you can do it to validate the logon by trying it on webmail first. If that works, then make sure the protocal is enabled with ADUC. If those things seem to work, turn on the http logging on your front end server. You may also need to check the data plan for device. If other devices are working, it must be that one.

Hi What issue are you having? You can use https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ to test activesync for Exchange. Sukh
