VDI - OneNote printing tables is black box

When my users in my Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (development) environment use OneNote, after adding a table and clicking to print the table area on the printout is a black box.  Everything else on the page prints fine, except for the table area. 

Print preview does not show any problems.  This happens on any printer.  VDI is XenDeskop and XenApp and Microsoft Office is on XenApp.


Any ideas on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please try print as XPS file to your printer, or try print as PDF and then check the result.

If the XPS tables look fine, then I guess there's something weird with your printer. Try update the printer driver to the latest version and check the result. Also, try remove and reinstall the printer to test the issue.

If the XPS tables are also black, then OneNote did something wrong. OneNote doesn't support table background colors, so I'd guess maybe there's a highlighter color set.  Select the whole table and select a Highlighter of "No Color."

Also try create an empty table to print and check the result.

I printed in xps print driver and it created the document without blacking out the table.  The print driver is the most recent universal one.  Not sure, it's odd.
