Using mfcmapi to recover a deleted NOTE in Exchange 2013?
I've used MFCMAPI plenty of times to recover deleted/purged e-mail items and folders, but never (until today) had a request to recover a note.  Is this possible to do with mfcmapi?

Hi ,

I am not sure with MFCMAPI tool but we can make use of the E-Discovery search in exchange 2013 .

Else we can use the exchange powershell commands like search-mailbox ....

Hi,

According to your description, please check retention period first?

When a user soft deletes or performs an Outlook hard delete against an item, the item is moved to the Recoverable Items\Deletions folder. When the user accesses Outlook/OWA Recover Deleted Items, the RPC Client Access service translates the request and returns the Recoverable Items\Deletions folder view.
Please refer to below technet blog that will help you to understand this concern in more depth and recover the hard deleted items back: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2009/09/25/3408389.aspx
