Using VAMT 3.1 to deploy License to Office 2010

While using VAMT 3.1 for a couple months, I can deploy licenses for Office 2013, Windows 7/8, but I can not seem to detect Office 2010 on client computers.

When using "Update License Status", having local administrative access and activating WMI access in the client's firewall settings, Office 2010 products do not show up for me to "Install Product Key".

I am currently on  Windows 7.

Is there a compatibility problem regarding deploying Office 2010 products? Or am i missing some kind of local client setting?

Thanks!
Albert

Hi

VAMT 3.1 can be used to manage volume activation for Office 2010.

Refer to the article below on Volume Activation Management Tool 3.1 and see if it helps:

You might also try VAMT 2.0 to deploy Office 2010 see the following link:

I followed those installation instructions in the beginning and I do not believe that is the problem.

VAMT 2.0 does not support Office 2010 when I key the license into the program.

Temporary Solution that I found was just to reinstall the Windows OS.

Thanks,
Albert

However, I am not going to go to all of the domain computers and uninstall/install already installed microsoft products.

This problem occurs on Office 2007 products also. I am unable to detect their license information.

If anyone knows a solution other than reinstallation, please let me know!

Thanks,
Albert
