Using Outlook 2007, server refuses to let me send a message
Using Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit, and Outlook 2007. I can't get it to send an e-mail on an IMAP account. Using same credentials as log in, on Port 587, w/ TLS encryption This is on the U of IA servers (email.uiowa.edu) always results in: "Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender"

So the problem is on UIOWA side, possibly when they did various software upgrade / rollouts. Unfortunately, they don't seem interested in supporting IMAP very much. I'll refer them to it though.
