Using LDIFDE to create users and E2K7 mailboxes
Hello All, Is it possible to use an LDIF file import to create users in AD and create mailboxes for those same users on an Exchange 2007 server? Is it a matter of running the LDIF import, followed by some kind of an Exchange Management Shell script to create the mailboxes? Could these two scripts use the same LDIF file as a source? Or, could you install the Exchange Management Console and Shell (PowerShell as well) on the server that runs the LDIFDE import scripts and somehow combine the two scripts into one? Any help would be great. Thanks. Scott

drop ldif , the powershell console using built-in cmdlets will be the way to go here. here's a great example which you can use to build upon. http://exchangepedia.com/blog/2006/11/exchange-server-2007-bulk-creation-of.html for more read-on : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997663.aspx- New-Mailbox cmdlet explained. good luck! ilan.
