Users not able to create new contacts in public folder? Exchange 2003
Hi, One of our departments have a public folder with few folders containing contacts. In of them called contacts they noted recently we are not able to add new contacts? The folder is 8MB. After attempt to create new contact we get an error prompting that not able to save , the folder has been moved or deleted? It's possible that the folder was restored as just below there is a folder contacts_restored. But the contacts don't much. The amendment of contacts information works fine, had a look into client access and users have editor level. I am in domain/exchange admin and also not able to add contact to this folder. Any hints, ideas? Also the window opens errors below. Usually this error message appears when your mailbox has exceeded the size restriction of two terabytes. Or, you have possibly exceeded the mailbox size limit established by your administrator. To eliminate this issue, archive or delete messages until the size of the mailbox is less than the limitation imposed by the administrator or is less than two terabytes, whichever is smaller. More information about this error message online. Have you checked there isn't a size restriction on the public folder? You will have to do that on the server through ESM. Can you create a new test Contacts folder and create contacts in there? It is not unusual for Public Folders to get corrupted. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
