Users in shared mail box should not move email messages within Outlook Shared Mailbox(inbox to subfolders )
Hi I have a scenario, we have one shared mail box(ex- teamA@test.com), which can be used by 12 memeber in my team, there are 12 subfolders created under inbox. we have few work related request auto generated mail comes to the inbox, I move the mails to the other member(with in the 12 subfolders) who is going to work on which resquest. Now in my team some one is moving mail from inbox to other subfolders and to others aswell, some time deleting. here I just want to restrict other users in my team to only access to the other folders except (inbox) in the same mail box. IS there any way can we block users from only inbox not from sent item or other subfolders.

Hello, What is the version of your Exchange Server? If you have full permission on shared mailbox, users will have permissions on Inbox and subfolders. If you only shared with subfolders, users cannot open the subfolder with open other user's folder. Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support

What is the version of exchange you are running, further you can accomplish this task by providing access on folder wise. Right click on the folder and provide the required access to the user. In this way you can control the access level on the mailbox. Thanks, vinod
