Users contact info in outlook 2007 for exchange 2007!
Hello, This maybe an easy question for someone but I have not been able to find out how. Can a user update their own contact info in their outlook? I know I can update the users info in exchange but could they do it themselves? Thank you for any help you can give, Josh

Hi, Do you mean info like address and such? If so the answer is no, that can not be altered through Outlook. If you implement Exchange 2010 there is a new functionality called Exchange Control Panel. It web based and enables users to change their own information sotred in Active Directory. I hope this helps, let me know if you got any further questions!

Martin thank you for your reply. I mean when you go to properties of a user in Exchange 2007 there is user information as well as address and phone that i would like the end users to change themselves. I guess you are right because you could change the user properties in AD as well. But maybe there is no way for the end user to change their properties. Thank you for your reply again, Josh
