Hi we have quite a few students and employees that never login into our domain. Our policy requires the user to change their AD password at first login and these people live to far away to come in. Because they are distant we have to given them an email account to access some of our resources. Now when they try to login using OWA 2007 they are not able to be authenticated using their unique default pwd that we give them. The reason is because OWA doesnt give them the option to change the PWD. How can I get around this and could this be option be included into OWA somehow? A domain PC prompts you to change your password at first login but OWA doesnt. please helpThanks

If you need the ability to change passwords after they expire or change password at first logon, you need to configure ISA Server 2006 to implement this functionality. This is annoying as there seems to be no other solution for it apart from adding a complex ISA setup. Why have MS taken the use of the IISPSD away with IIS7?? My CAS is on a W2K8 box so no I am stuffed. How come MS cant resolve a key requirement!!!

"IISADMPWD" was used in IIS 6.0 and to be more specific in Exchange 2003, because in Exchange 2003 /exchange was a logical container and didnt had any files in it. All the information (including logon screen, pictures, buttons, etc) was pulled from exchweb.In the same way, the facility to access AD to change the password using OWA was done with the help of IISADMPWD.But in Exchange 2007, all the information regarding OWA is in 1 single v-dir OWA. But its not an ideal solution. I dont want to set up ISA Server just to be able to do this? THIS SHOULD BE PART OF EXCHANGE and it's COMMON SENSE.
