Users Able to see Hide exchange contact in OWA.
Today i noticed few of my users when login owa , they able to see some users that was hidden in exchange appear in the distribution group list . Some of OWA users not able to view the hidden users in the same distribution group which i believe is correct. And in my exchange 2007 sp2 have few address list which only Default was distribute through web and public folder , the rest address list all are distribute through public folder. Strange that the groups of users able to see the hidden users also able to see the rest of the address book . Is it mean when they login owa , the address book access through public folder chanel ? Where is the settings to change it back web ? When i hidden a contact or users in Exchange . Should i able to see the contact in the group list or shouldnt i ? Access through OWA and outlook is it different behaviour ? thanks

I don't know whether that is expected behavior or not. But you could hide membership of the distribution group if you want to be sure they're not seen. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
