User were not able access Exchange Server when FSMO transfrred.
Dear All,I have one domain controller and one exchange 2003. I planned to install one adc and move FSMO to newly installed Adc.After adc installation, when I tried to move FSMO my exchange Server was not able to authenicate user.Then I had to roll back and move the FSMO to Root DC.It this expected behavior. Please let me know.Abhishek

Exchange failed to authenticate the reason would be you might had not restarted exchange services after the FSMO roles been transferred. Is this new server also going to be GC? Basically Exchange would only look for GC and doesnot pay much attention to FSMO roles. i Would also run exchange /Domainprep to this new DC so that exchange can have all security rights on this new dc. Make sure exchange can see this DC in DSACCESS tab. and then transfer FSMO to new server.
