User unable to receive mail from DL..only 1 user not able to receive mail
I have 1 user who complained that she not able to recieve mail which send from DL_AllUsers. I check this user already member of this DL. On her Outlook, there is rule and also junk mail is empty. Previously, she reported to me about this issue, so what I did was remove her from DL and re-add back but still no luck. We are running on Exchange 2007. I'm using message tracking log to query mail queue which send to senderA to DL_alluser, the result is will show the flow to the recipients. I did change the query criteria, which searching email sent from Sender A to userB (member of DL_Alluser AND able to receive email in outlook), the message tracking will show what time the email send to userB store. Then I change the criteria to Sender A to userC(member of DL_Allusers AND not receive email in Outlook) the result no log available. It look like the email not reach userC but userC is member of DL_Allusers. Please advice

Does she have more than one user account, and maybe the wrong account is a member of the DL?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

And you might check Message Tracking to see where the message might have gone.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

She has only one account. I checked the membership using EMC, appeared that her mailbox is member of DL_AllUsers

I granted myself to have FULL Access right on her mailbox then configure her outlook on my PC, check there is no rules, maybe I have to use MFCMAPI.exe

Yes, I already check on Message Tracking log. What I did is: 1. The criteria which I used in Message Tracking. The Sender: Admin@contoso.com and Recipient: DL_AllUsers@contoso.com and specified the time frame the email sent. I have difficulty to get identified this user in the recipient list due to a lot of recipients who able to recieve this email. So I changed the Message Tracking criteria 2. The sender: Admin@contoso.com and Recipietn: UserB@contoso.com and specified the time frame as same as step 1. The result is log show that no email from Admin being sent to UserB@contoso.com. To confirm, I change the Message Tracking criteria again. 3. The sender: Admin@contoso.com and Recipietn: UserA@contoso.com (this user was confirmed able to recieve the email based on Message Tracking on step1, I choose one of the recipient) and specified the time frame as same as step 1. The result is log show that there is email from Admin being sent to UserA@contoso.com.

I would look at UserA's mailbox carefully to see if the message is in Junk Mail, deleted by rule, or something like that.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi Ed, I'm not personally check her mailbox. What I did was giving me the full access to her mailbox and setup her profile on my laptop then I check on junk mail, there is no such mail and also check the Outlook rule, there was no rule applied. Should I attend to her outlook instead?
