User profile created automatically on Exchange 2010
Hi, I am facing one strange problem. I am running Exchange server 2010 on windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1. Problem: On Exchange server user's profile have been created automatically without user's been logged into the exchange server. Is this can be a IIS related issue? I have found the similar article here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/nl/exchangesvradmin/thread/622b4cb7-a04d-44e4-993f-bbccc14e58f9, Expand to 'Local Policies/User Rights Assignment', on right panel, locate the policy "Allow log on locally", remove the Domain users or Everyone from the Allow list. But, I can't able to add or removed from 'Allow log on locally' list, and there aren't any 'Domain users' or Everyone in the Allow list, I don't know why these profile have been created automatically. Please advise Regards, Ady

Do you allow users to change their passwords using OWA? If you do you have your answer in the thread you referenced. Perhaps you have "Authenticated Users" or some other group that's allowed to log on locally. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Yes, We do allow users to change passwords via OWA. I do have 'Authenticated Users', but I can't able to removed it from Allow Log on Locally. Any idea?

Are you sure there's a profile there, or is it just an empty directory? --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
