User account with no rights logging into several Exchange mailboxes
Hello, Today I noticed that a particular user account (with an Exchange mailbox) is logging into other users' mailboxes. So I checked if the user account has any rights to the mailboxes (about 10 of them) thatit'slogging into. The user account does not have any rights to the mailboxes that it has been logging in. I thought that a user account needs full mailbox rights to be able to log in to another user's mailbox. Does anyone know what could cause this? Thank you. Sherane

You're seeing this login info in ESM? Most likely a user accessing a calendar or some other folder in the mailbox. Even when a user doesn't have access to another user's calendar and tries to see it, ESM logs that as "Last Logged in By"

Thank you stodj. Attempting to access someone else's calendar (even though account has no permission) does cause the "Last Logged in By" event to get logged. I wonder why is that.

Yeah, it's a head scratcher.Microsoft should label that column "Last Attemted Logon By" or something like that.
