User Cannot Log onto Exchange 2007 OWA (but can login through Outlook 2007)
We recently had several employees move to a sister company and I was asked to remove their domain access but continue forwarding their emails from Exchange to their new email address. I disabled the users in Active Directory and set the forwarding delivery options on Exchange. Today one user needed access to his old emails so I enabled his domain account and reset his password, which should have allowed him to login. I am able to log onto the domain and successfully setup his Exchange account on Outlook, but cannot log onto Outlook Web Access - I get the response "The user name or password that you entered is not valid. Try entering it again." No other users are having an issue with OWA.

Hi, At first , I suggest you changing the password in ADUC, then try to log on OWA again. If it not work ,go ahead. Based on my research, this issue may be caused by ACL Inheritance is disabled on the user account in AD. The Exchange Servers Group needs to have the permissions to write the "msExchUserCulture" attribute on the user when the language is selected in OWA. If Inheritance attribute is disabled, may lead to the error message as well. Therefore, please follow steps below to enable the ACL inheritance: 1. Log on domain controller and open "Active Directory Users and Computers" 2. Choose View - > Ensure "Advanced Features" is checked. 3. Select the problem user Account and right-click "Properties" 4. Select the "Security Tab" and click "Advanced" 5. Select the "Allow inheritable..." checkbox and click OK. 6. Wait a few minutes in order to Active Directory replication. 7. Log into the OWA and let me know the result. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
