User Account creation in Exchange 2007
We had Exchange 2003 for the last 7 years and as of last week upgraded to Exchange 2007. With Exch 2003 I was able to create a new user account from AD and there create a mailbox for the user. Now with Exch 2007 I cant do that in one step from AD. I need create the account in AD and the create the email account in Exch 2007 using the console. This is OJT for me at present. Why did MS break this up???? Is there a GUI way to do both from one spot????

It's by design, yes the Exchange Management Console can provision both the AD and mailbox account at the same time.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

As James said, you can create new AD and mailbox account via EMC. As an additional information, please refer to the following article: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Managing-mailboxes-Exchange-Server-2007-Part1.html Thanks.
