Use any of the mail address for sending mail
Hi everybody! Maybe one of you could be of assistance for my little problem. 3 of my users need to have multiple e-mail address from different domain. Ex.. user1@domain1.com user1@domain2.com user1@domain3.com etc... That's ok, i've used the e-mail address policy for that. The problem is with sending e-mail, those users are assistant for people that are managing 3 different company, so when they need to send an e-mail it MUST be from the domain from the company in question. Is there a way to configure something, so thoses user can send e-mail from different domain? When i try to sendfrom an address that is assigned by thee-mail address policy, i got an error saying that i'm not authorized to send this message because i'm trying to send a message in the name of another user without authorization. Thanks!

i believe there is a 3rd party program that allows for this. what i have done in the past, is use outlook to connect via pop3 to exchaneg on your 2nd two accounts and just have all mail delivered to the same exchange inbox. this way you have the "accounts" tab next to send to let you select what email address you are sending from. the problem with this method is there are now multiple entries in the GAL for the user.

There are 3rd party products that can help, although none of them offer the perfect solution. The other options are: As the above post says, set up a fake pop 3 mailbox, then setup multiple pop/smtp accounts on the outlook client, each with the email address of the account you want to send from, that way you can choose from teh drop down list when you send the mail Setup a mailbox for each seperate mail account and givethe user send from permissions for that account. When they send mail, use the from field in outlook.
