Upgrading exchange 2003 TO 2007
hi.. i have a question about upgrade exchange 2003 TO 2007. is it necessary to uninstall (remove) exchange 2003 before installing 2007? if yes, i can not remove that, because my user , store mailbox on that server. now, what do i do? please help me thanks.

Hi,Actually, you can NOT install Exchange 2007 on same machine where you have Exchange 2003.- Exchange 2007 requires 64 bit of processor and 64 bit of Windows operating system so you need a separate server other than old Exchange 2003.- You can install Exchange 2007 on another machine along with Exchange 2003 in your environment, move all mailboxes and data from 2003 to 2007 and uninstall Exchange 2003 server.Find Exchange 2007 System Requirements in below article.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996719.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
