I've tried running the commands to update the current default policy from 2003 to 2007 but I keep getting this error. + Set-EmailAddressPolicy <<<< "Default Policy" -forceupgrade -IncludedRecipients AllRecipients Set-EmailAddressPolicy : The recipient policy "Default Policy" with mailbox manager settings cannot be managed by the current version of Exchange Management Console. Please use a management console with the same version as the object. At line:1 char:23 I've ran it with the forceupgrade and without. I've checked my 2003 server and there are no mailbox manager policies applied, all of the boxes are unchecked for the default policy. I also looked in ADSIEdit and all of the values for mailbox manager policies say Not Set. Any suggestions??

HI,This error message indicates that it's not just a recipient policy but that you also have mailbox manager policy settings on this object. Since Mailbox Manager policies no longer exist in Exchange 2007, you need to remove the mailbox manager policy settings from this recipient policy object using Exchange 2003 before you can upgrade the policy to Exchange 2007 version (you can create another mailbox manager policy that has no email address policy settings in Exchange 2003 if you want to keep the mailbox manager settings).ResourceAddress List and EAP filter upgrades with Exchange Server 2007 RegardsChinthaka

I've looked under the mailbox manager policy tab in Exchange 2003 and none of the boxes are checked. I've also looked in ADSIEdit under Configuration>Services>Microsoft Exchange>Domain>Recipient Policies>Properties of Default Policy and all msExchMailboxManager settings the Value is <not set>. Is there somewhere else I can check or something I am missing in turning off this policy? We currently do not use Mailbox Manager Policies but I have inherited our Exchange 2003 environment and it's hard to tell what other people have done with it.
