Upgrading AD to R2
When we try to upgrade our active directory to R2 we are getting the following error: "isSingleValued" attribute value for objects defined in Windows 2000 schema and extended schema do not match. A previous schema extension has defined the attribute value as "TRUE" for object "CN=memberUid,CN=Schema.CN=Configuration,DC=ourdomain,DC=org" differently than the schema extension needed for Windows 2003Server. Adprep cannot extend your exsisteing schema We have change our schema because we run a mixed environment of mac and windows clients. Thanks ahead for any help.

Messing with the schema is a tricky thing. There is a hotfix that *might* help you out. Check out this KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919938 I do it quite a biton my lab systems and I occasionally break something. If the abovefix does not help you, can you edit your memberUid extension and match it up with what the ADPREP program is trying to do? Here is a URL from someone that had similar issues: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=422863 If you are not exactly sure which way to proceed, I would invest some money in a PSS call. As long as you get a decent person on the line (which is getting harder and harder with Microsoft PSS - Are you listening Microsoft?) then it is a very good investment.
