Upgrading .PPSs?
If you receive a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 97-2003 Slide Show (.pps) file, is it possible to convert it to a Microsoft Office PowerPoint Slide Show (.ppsx)? The problem consists in the fact that, unlike .PPTs which are opened in Microsoft Powerpoint and so can be upgraded to 2007 versions (.PPTXs) through the main Office menu, .PPSs play straight away and so the only two options I can think of in terms of how to upgrade them would be 1) either to find a way of opening and viewing them in Powerpoint without their playing, or 2) to upgrade them directly using the interface in Windows Explorer.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Hello,
You can convert through PowerPoint, Open PowerPoint and open your file and convert it to PPTX format by using SaveAs option to play directly.
However this is Exchange Server - General Discussion forum, suggest you to post your query in Office/PowerPoint Discussion forum to get better responses for this.
