Upgraded from Outlook 2003 to 2007 for XP and PST files are locked
I recently upgraded from Outlook 2003 to 2007, on Win XP Professional. My profile was copied over from 2003 but I can't open the PST files. I can see them but not expand them or move emails to them. I keep my PST folders in MY DOCUMENTS so they are backed up on a regular basis. Itried closing the folder then recreating it but that didn't help.

Were the PST files originally in another folder? Check the properties of the PST file and see if it is set to "Read only". Also, check the permissions on the PST file and make sure that you have Full Control permissions to them.Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com
