Update recipient policy on exchange 2007 to use Secondary SMTP
Hi guys,
Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Currently we have our
Primary SMTP address as NTAccount@company.com and everyone in the organisation also has a
Secondary SMTP address
FirstName.Lastname@company.com
Our business would like to change the format to
FirstName.Lastname@company.com as the Primary SMTP address.
My understanding is that all we would have to do is change the Recipient Policy to point to the
Secondary SMTP address
FirstName.Lastname@company.com
Is there anything else that we need to do?

Apply the policy after making the change. Then find any mailbox that
had been excluded from automatic e-mail address generation and make
the changes to them manually.
