Update 14.3.9 for Office 2011 for Mac keeps wanting to be installed.

Have Mavericks installed on iMac that had Office 2011 for Mac installed.  The 14.3.9 update keeps asking to be installed and i run through the installer yet again, hoping this time it will stop asking.  If I check in Outlook, it says I'm running 14.3.9.  When will this insanity stop?  What can I do?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi

This often means that more than one drive has Microsoft Office visible on it, and the Update script has gotten confused.

Try disconnecting all external drives, backup drives etc, and see if that resolves it.

If so something has gone wrong with the update service.

A simple uninstallation and reinstallation ideally takes care of these issues.
