I am trying to unprotect an excel 2010 workbood. I went to File-Info-Permission but all of the options are greyed out except for Restrict permissions by People. How do I remove that?

Try following.

Select Home ribbon.

Select Format icon (towards right of ribbon in the Cell block)

See Protection at the bottom of the dropdown dialog.
