Uninstalling Exchange 2007 from a 2010 Environment
Hi all, We recently migrated from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010. Since we've moved all users to to the Exchange 2010 mailboxes, I figure it's time to uninstall are 2007 Environment. My question is this: Is there anything that we've setup through the Exchange Management Console in Exchange 2007 that will go away once we've uninstalled it? For instance, we still use the Manged Folders that we made in 2007 for our retention policies, and there were a lot of Distribution Groups that were made in 2007. Does that kind of stuff stay after uninstalling? Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Eveything you created from the 2007 console will stay without any issues. Use this article to remove the 2007 server: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg576862.aspx Leif
