Uninstall/Remove Exchange 2010 from AD
Hi, I ran into this situation in my test lab that the current Exchange 2010 setup has stuffed up. What will be the best/right way to remove Exchange 2010 from the organization? How to delete its AD data? Please note I cannot get into EMC or EMS as I mentioned the setup is stuffed up... So cant remove user mailboxes first... Very Bad...

Hi, Though the installation failed, first try uninstalling E2010 from Appwiz.cpl (add\remove programs) if that fails use ADSIedit.msc and delete exchange configuration. - Open ADSIedit - Navigate to Configuration -> Services -> Microsoft Exchange - Right Click and delete the Microsoft Exchange container When we used ADSIedit to delete Exchange Organization, you have to rebuilt the server to install exchange server back.Regards, Hari | MCSE+ Messaging

The fastest way to do it is like Hussain wrote, but the supported way is to using control panel and remove it like a normal application If it doesn't work you can reinstall the server and then run setup.com /m:recoverserver and then uninstall it from control panel Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

If you have Ex.2003/2007/2010 still in production then you can not use it!
