Hello,

I am seeing many results from running Get-MessageTrackingLog that have an EventID of HAREDIRECTFAIL.  A quick search of Google and Bing indicates zero info.

Does anyone know what this means, or has any seen it before?

The mail flow seems to be working OK, but I checked the logs when a user complained of a missing email.  I'm not necessarily convinced that the HAREDIRECTFAIL is related to that issue, as many messages have this status, and I know they succeeded.

I meet this even id too . I guess "HAREDIRECTFAIL" means " have are direct fail " .  This happen ,when my code want to mailbox send one meeting request. It is random happen!

HAREDIRECTFAIL event indicates that the message redirection failed.

In Exchange 2013, in the Message tracking log there comes information that is logged when messages are redirected.

Event ID	Description
HAREDIRECT	The HAREDIRECT   event indicates that message was redirected.
HARECEIVE	The HARECEIVE   event indicates that message was received because the message was   redirected.
HAREDIRECTFAIL	HAREDIRECTFAIL   event indicates that the message redirection failed.
HADISCARD	HADISCARD event   indicates that message as discarded.

If I get HARECEIVE or DELIVER in messagetracking eventID, can I confirm that it's been delivered to the mailbox.
