Undeliverable Mail Notifications, Outlook Express, and OWA
I suspect that this all goes back to one problem....
If one of our Outlook Express users sends an e-mail and it bounces, the resulting Undeliverable E-mail notification chokes out Outlook Express from receiving any more e-mails. The notification itself does not reach the Outlook Express user.
However, if they access their e-mail via Outlook Web Access, they will see the notification header. If they try to open the notification, thought, they get a 404 error.
If they delete the notification header while in Outlook Web Access, then go to Outlook Express, they will now be able to receive e-mail in Outlook Express.
I'm using SBS 2003 andOutlook Express 6.
The situation does not affect Outlook 2003 users within the network.
What could be causing this and where would I begin to remedy it?
