Unbable to Remove Exchange 2003!
Hi, I joined new organization they have a existing exchange server 2003 installed...previous guy played around exchange Administrator permission in exchange...i guess he rmoved full exchange administrator permissions..now the problem is it can't be accessable from the console and it is not removing.when i try to remove the exchange it is giving error : ""The component "Microsoft Forest Preparation" cannot be assigned the action "ForestPrep"because: -To install the first exchange server in a domain, or to run setup in "/forestprep" mode you must be an Exchange Full Administrator atthe organization level. You must use an account that has been granted the Full ExchangeAdministrator role on the Exchangeorganization using the Exchange Administrative Delegation Wizard."" i try to add all the permissions in AD but no luck...could any help me for this issue please...thank you

Hi Vijay, Please refer to below kb: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298068 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/292757 If those would not solve your issue, please make a test through create new account and add it to the proper group. Of you could manually remove the exchange 2003, please refer to below: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396 Regards! Gavin
