Unable to view existing Power View

Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component when trying to insert or view an existing Power View

I saw https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2956102/en-us#officeinstall for the MSI install

has this been fixed in the Office 365 version for Excel 2013? If so, then why am I experiencing it in Excel 2013 version 15.0.4711.1003?

Hi CWFCleber,

As far as I know, Excel 2013 version 15.0.4711.1003 is the Current Version of Office 365 now. The fixKB2956102 has been installed, detailed info:

Release: February  2015 Update
Version: 15.0.4711.1003

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/gp/office-2013-365-update#26

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3032763

Then, please try the workaround, and let me know if that helps or not.

Check your Region setting for your system and see if it is set to a region that uses a comma for the decimal mark? If it is, please change it to a region that uses a period for the decimal mark instead of a comma.

Thanks

I figured out the issue, turns out my computer was running out of memory, so power view would not load, once I restarted my computer, the power views for the spreadsheet came right up.
