Unable to view contents of Mail folders in Outlook 2010 Exchange 2003 account
I am installing several new PCs into our Windows SBS 2003 environment. They are each Windows 7 with MS Office 2010 Pro Plus. I created the Mail profile on each PC while no one was logged into the mail account on any other PC. All of the mailbox folders appear in Outlook 2010, and I can work with those which do not contain mail (i.e. contacts, calendar, etc.). However, all of the mail folders give me the following error "Outlook cannot display this view. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object." They open just fine in Outlook 2003, which is on all of the other PCs on our network. When I click on a mail folder, I lose all of my "view" options on the drop down menu, so I cannot change anything there. I have tried running "outlook /cleanviews", and I have deleted and recreated the outlook profiles. i deleted and recreated the user's profiles in Windows. I explicitly gave the user owner permissions to the mailbox in Active Directory. I gave the user owner permissions to each folder by opening it in Outlook 2003. No change. It is occurring exactly the same on each of the new PCs. Help!

I can also access the public folders just fine. I just have problems with the inbox, sent items, and any other folder which contains mail.

Thanks for the reply. I've run Microsoft Update, and installed the hotfix that you listed. Still no luck.
