Unable to start Transport Service after installing exchange 2007 sp2

any errors in the logs? Did u upgrade to SP2 or is it a fresh install of Ex2007 SP2? Did u restart the server after the installation?

Post here the events that you are getting in the application n system log run the command Eseutil /mh 'mail.queue' file See if its in clean shutdown state If not replay the log files manually in the mail.queue file by running eseutil /rExchange Rocks

Hi, 1. Open HKLM\System\CurrentcontrolSet\Services\MSExchangeTransport, and check the objectname. 2. Correct the registry key and change it to NT Authority\Networkservice. 3. Restart the transport service. Restart the Active Directory Topology Service. If the issue persists, please post the error log here for further research.
