Unable to start MsExchangeSA
Hello allI've been poking around at this problem for the past couple of days, and I can't seem to get a grip on it.The problem is: my 2003 R2 server with Exchange 2007 (SP1) won't run MsExchangeSA. I need this service for my legacy clients and OAB, but whatever I try, no diceMy layout is as follows (all in VMWare Workstation 6):1x Windows Server 2003 Enterprise SP2, as Active Directory & SharePoint serverhost: wk3srvr.mytest.local1x Windows Server 2003 Enterprise (clone) as Exchange 2007 SP1 serverhost: exchgsrvr.mytest.local2x Windows XP Pro SP3 clients (clones) + Office 2003 Enterprise host: xppro1.mytest.local and xppro2.mytest.localWhen starting MsExchangeSA I get the following fault: "The Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service."Event Viewer gives me eventID 1005:Unexpected error No authority could be contacted for authentication. ID no: 80090311 Microsoft Exchange System Attendant occurred. "For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.I looked at KB 316710, but this is aimed at DC's running Exchange. Nevertheless, KDC works fine on my DC. And obviously it's not running on my Exchange box.DNS is setup up fine; nslookup in all direction / ping works great.dcdiag doesn't report any problemsneither does netdiagnltest /sc_verify:mytest.local works OK as wellNow, reading the problem description above it'd seem as if my Exchange box can't contact the AD to verify authentication. But is there any specific way for me to check this? As mentioned, everything else seems to work fineThanks in advance for any help!ps.Apologies if my post is a bit incoherent; I'm up for 28 hours now ;-)

Windows 2003 Scalable Networking pack and its possible effects on Exchange Amit Tank, that's working perfectly. Thanks a million! For those stumbling across this later on with the search:All I did was putting the following in a .reg file and reboot: REGEDIT4[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]"EnableTCPChimney"=dword:00000000"EnableTCPA"=dword:00000000"EnableRSS"=dword:00000000
