Unable to send E-mail to Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail
Hello I am using Exchange Server 2007 on DC 2008 (Windows Server 2008). I am unable to send an E-mail to yahoo, google and hotmail. But I am able to send an E-mail to other domains. I also check my Server IP is not blacklisted and no firewall is blocking the SMTP traffic. No relevant event log is displaying. Please help me how to get rid of that problem Thanks LeoN

Hi! Can you share the NDR, a work around for this problem is to create a seperate send connector for these domains at EDGE. SajjadSajjad

Hello, Beofre week its working fine and able to send E-mails to all domains. I donot know what happened now. Even when i send an E-mail to yahoo it donot stay on my Outbox and show in sent itemns. How I can share the NDR and how to create seperate send connector at Edge? some other troubleshooting techniques? LeoN

Hi! Is there nay email is bounced back? what is the message in mail? if you dont get any NDR, you may go to your EDGE server EMC and can track the mail through message tracking in toolbox. you can also create a send connector through EMC on EDGE. I am assuming you are using EDGE transport server, please correct me if I am wrong. Sajjad Sajjad

Yes I am using Edge Transport Server, the message in the mail is just "Hello". The E-mail donot bounce back.LeoN

Guess these domains require that you configure a reverse DNS (PTR record). looks like the email is blocked due to complaints by some of the yahoo users. Keep an eye on your EDGE server queues especially in the after hours for a high OUTBOUND spam. I am sure yahoo support can point out the email address in your domain which are reason for the complaint. Make sure to check the PCs of owners and advise them to atleast change theor passwords.
