Hello,

We have an issue with Visio and being unable to save new Visio drawings. Looking online, the issue appears to be a combination of no local admin rights and folder redirection.

I haven't come across a solution for this yet, beyond changing everything to save locally, which is not an option for us.

Any help appreciated.

If that's the case, how do we work around this? Word, Excel etc. are not affected in this way and saving a document seems like a fundamental feature.

We have the same exact problem.

I've read on some other forums that you'll have to create a folder on C: and then in the  save options of visio , change the save path to this created folder. But because we have a policy active that users cannot see the C drive because it's made hidden this option is not working. 

Tried to change the path to a Network drive (not redirected, but simply a network drive)  is also not working.

I'm pulling my hair out... does anybody know a solution for this ?
