Unable to resolve the exchange web link from 2 balanced ISP
Hello, <1> This may issue on ISP2 DNS server, you need to add record for your Exchange Server, then you can use the https link to access OWA. <2> I don't think you need to configure on it, because, you can use public ip of ISP2 to access it. <3> From your above description, I don't think you need to configure on your Exchange Server. Hi , It could be an issue with DNS (ISP2) , make sure that OWA 'A' record resolution is working as expected. It a good idea to verify Soicwall configuration with both ISPs , also look at local certificate if any.I don't think , exchange server needs any reconfiguraion as mailrelay is working with direct hope.Answer-1 Thanks SaleeshIf answer is helpful, please hit the green arrow on the left, or mark as answer.

Hi Saleesh, Thanks for the reply. Where to add this A record ? on DC DNS or exchange server ? If my first ISP link failed will it give OWA access from ISP2 public IP? Pls revert.

on Local network this exchange mailboxes outlook & OWA link is working. But on IPhone & Blackberry I'm not able send & receive the emails? Senario is I run my network via sonicwall with 2 ISP Internet link with ROUND ROBIN configuration. With ISP 1 its working fine. But if I took the ISP-1 down it will switch to ISP-2, by this Exchange is working on client PC's but not working on phone. What kinda settings I have to do to get this mail working on IPhones. Is there any check point to test or to reconfigure.

Hi All, I have strange problem. Senario is I have two ISP link terminated on Sonicwall 240 box with failover configuration. Currently settings are correct & working with ISP1. Its running my exchange well. When ISP-1 is down my internet will be switched to ISP-2 thro. Sonicwall firewall. My exchange link unable to work in browser & it is not getting resolved. If I put the public ip of ISP-2 it's working. If I put the https link in browser its not resolving. OWA will not work. Another issue :- When my ISP -1 is running & If I took my ISP-2 down all mobile phone users who are having exchange mails stop working. They unable to send & receive the mails. I unable to figure it out where is the issue? How to resolve this. 1) is there issue with my DNS server settings? 2) Does Sonicwall needs configuration for this? 3) Does my exchange needs re configuration? 4) Does this issue with ISP DNS resolution? Please revert with you suggestion & Kindly help to resolve this.
