Unable to resolve Exchange server domain name during Outlook setup
I'm trying to configure Outlook 2007 to connect to Exchange 2010 server via Outlook Anywhere. When adding a new Mail profile and configuring the new Exchange account in Outlook, I has this issue with specifying the domain name of the Exchange server. It keeps telling me that it was unable to find the server. I managed to overcome this problem if I use the numeric IP address of the server. Outlook managed to perform the lookup and somehow automatically resolved the server domain name in the configuration dialog box. However I had to manually configure it to use Outlook Anywhere. Any idea on what might be causing this? Thanks
