Unable to receive email
I am unable to receive email after regrouping from an SMTP hijacking. I can send email and if someone replies I get it, but otherwise, no incoming email. What should I check? Thanks,Vic

First and foremost, verify your public DNS for your MX records. It is a bit curious that people can reply to you, though. Yet, they cannotoriginate a message to you. Can you send me a teste-mail and I will look at the SMTP headers and test it back to you? jim (at) cta.net JimJim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

Aha! It looks like you have gotten on to an RBL. Visit the above URL and see how you can get your IP address removed from the list. Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

it's possible if other people are using the same RBL for outgoing filtering. I agree with Jim, what do your MX records point to?Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
