Unable to read a file

I have a mhtml file about 160 MB size which has huge data (only table)~ >750,000 cells. When try opening in Excel application i am getting an error "unable to read a file".

Analysis from my side:

1. when I opened the same file in note pad and deleted 50% of rows, saved and tried to open using Excel application => it worked.

This means there is a restriction of data handled by excel application.

2.  The same file is opening in Working in Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 32 bit and not working in Microsoft Office Professional plus 2013 32 bit.

Can any help me understand the reason for this issue and help me resolving it.

I would expect 64-bit to handle it, but not 32-bit.  You should easily be able to open it using Access.  If you don't have Access, you should get SQL Server Express for free, and use that.  Manipulate your file, and save what you need (using a Query) to Excel.  You can get SQL Server Express from here.
