Unable to move users to new 2010 server in new forest
I have a single site, single server Exchange 2010 install. When we moved from Exchange 2003 to 2010 some certificate issues we had became very apparent. Our internal domain name is owned by someone else. This looked like a good time to make the switch to a better internal domain name. I'm in the process of testing the move to a newly created forest. I have my test users set up, and ready to move, but I'm stuck on the "remote move request". I have run PrepareMoveRequest on the accounts. I moved them with ADMT so they now appear in AD. But when I do the remote move request I get the following error: Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:01:22 test movethree Failed Error: Service 'net.tcp://exchange1.New-Domain.local/Microsoft.Exchange.MailboxReplicationService' encountered an exception. The problem is once again that I only have a self signed cert on the original Exchange server. How do I either get the new server to accept the self signed cert or just ignore the certificate all together. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated. I'm very stuck and very behind with this move because of it. Thanks in advance.
