I also have the same issue but with the public folder database? Was working on replicating public folders from 2003 to 2010 exchange system and log disk filled up and another of our techs deleted logs of course they are not recoverable. Cant delete as it is not mounted and cant add new because only one is allowed? anyone have sugestions on how to fix? Pointed the mail database to 2003 public folder but still cant remove the public folder database last error in list. I have fixed this issue. Initially I try to move the log files to another location and then try to mount. Still unable to mount the database. After that I try to create a recovery database and try to move the mailboxes .Again fail to mount the database. After that I noticed there is not tmp.edb and e00tmp.log files. I manually created the files and then I moved all the log files to another location. Now the database contains the edb file, tmp.edb file, e00tmp.log file, CHK file. JRS files. This time I try to mount the database and I am successful. Not sure how it s mounted but this is the only change I have made. Thanks KrishnaThanks & Regards Krishnakumar B

Tumtere, since you don't need help in your forum account for this web site, your post is off-topic. I don't think Exchange experts patrol this forum. If you need exchange help in the future, try the forums under the Exchange Server category on technet forums instead. The following is signature, not part of post Please mark the post answered your question as the answer, and mark other helpful posts as helpful, so they will appear differently to other users who are visiting your thread for the same problem.
