Unable to mount newly created database
I am no longer able to mount newly created database on my exchange servers.
It is reporting a mapiexceptioncallfailed. as per below:
Any suggestions on resolving would be appreciated.

So no new databases can be mounted? What if you dismount and re-mount an older database? Are you having any DC replication issues? Run DCDiag.

I checked logs, Was trying to add a 6th database. Appears that Exchange 2003 standard is limiting me to 5 mounted database
If I stop another pre-crated i was able to start the new.

Yes, you can not mount more than 5 database in Exchange STD flavour. For more than 5 DB you have to use ENT version.

Hi,
That's by design. Since storage group can only contains 5 databases. To create more than 5 databases, you need to create another storage group.
