Unable to install 2010 in Windows7

error code:30175-4

Something went wrong is the error when installing..

Itll be great if you can provide more details to help in troubleshooting, Like have you ever installed any previous version of Office on that office? In which step of the installation do you experience the error?

Anyway, you might need to try these general steps first :

1. Restart the Computer in Clean boot which would disable the Computer Firewall. Then try to install Office. Refer to the article below on how to do Clean Boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
2. If you have installed any previous version of Office, you might need to run Fix It tool to uninstall any existing file/trace:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2822317#Specific  for Office 365/2013
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179/en-us  for Office 2007/2010

3. Reinstall Office again.
